My name is Rachel Bingham and my business is Net Profit which is located at a small home office in Windsor, CA. I am a second-generation tax preparer and accountant.  Taxes and accounting are in my bloodline. My father was a tax preparer and my mother was an IRS auditor. My son, Michael, is seeking an accounting degree in Sonoma County and works with me. My father’s family trade can be linked to England in the Middle Ages as the tax collector and accountant for the king. My parents were what I call Bay Area urban hippies. As a child, I lived in Pacifica, San Anselmo, Daly City, Healdsburg, and Berkeley. Part of my Berkeley experience was living in a commune, as a teen, with my mom, in the late 1970’s. My adult life started up when I graduated from Berkeley High School and joined the Marine Corps. It where I met my husband of 35+ years, Brian, and had our son, Michael. You can say I wear my patriotism with pride in a tie dye fashion. And as avid kitten fosters for the local animal shelters, my family has fostered 435+ kittens, from a few days old to 12 weeks. During the year, my house teems with little kittens, roaming the hallways, with my adult cat, Little Miss Sunshine.  My favorite activity is either reading a good book with a kitten on my lap or watching a zombie movie with the family.

Like Rachel, I grew up and have lived all over the SF Bay Area. and I served a year in the Air Force until a work injury disabled me. I started my career as a bookkeeper in the late 80’s. Over the past 35+ years, I have worked for many companies in various industries, either as an Office Administrator or in the accounting department. My dynamic collective business experience has made me a good bookkeeper and great administrator of office functions. I have worked with Rachel at net profit for over 5 years. Currently, I am living in Montana with my husband, Jason. In the past year, we moved to help my elderly mother in her hometown. Remotely, I work for Rachel and it is my voice that you hear on the phone. And yes, there are 2 dogs and 4 cats making noise in the background. Initially, Rachel had fostered our cats as kittens and I fell in love with them. My favorite activity is to create art in many forms. Up to 2017, I had a side business selling handmade jewelry and fused glass. I sold my art online and at local farmer’s markets in Sonoma County. I miss Sonoma County yet Montana is beginning to feel like home.
